2022 Schedule is posted!
CKRA will be hosting 13 Championship events in 2022, with your Best 8 counting towards the championship.

In addition, for the 2nd consecutive year, Thompson Kart Raceway will host the Buckeye Karting Challenge under the lights for their ONLY night race!

Elections were held on January 30th. The 2022 board is now set.

Many people do not get involved in Karting because they "don't know what to do or where to start." That's where we come in. At Thompson Kart Raceway, operated by Championship Kart Racing Association (CKRA), we know that Karting is the foundation of motorsports. Therefore, we make it our mission to help you get started in Karting and be there for you as you continue to grow into the sport.

At Thompson Kart Raceway, you will find racers as young as 5 years old and as old as 70+. You will find first time racers alongside drivers who compete in national karting series such as WKA, USPKS, and SKUSA. But most importantly, you will find that we all have one thing in common; we love to race and we want to help you learn how so that you can race with us.
​So what are you waiting for? Give us a call and come out and see us. You know you want to!
Mission Statement:
It is the goal of Championship Kart Racing Association(CKRA) to provide and promote a family atmosphere where all racers, young and old, can benefit from the racing experience in a safe and positive way. It is everyone’s responsibility to exhibit good sportsmanship and promote a safe, fair and open racing environment at Thompson Kart Raceway in Thompson, OH.
